Kopke Port, 2003

Colheita Port
Silver Medal, IWC 2022

A 2003 vintage Colheita Port Wine from Kopke Port. The 2003 Kopke Single Harvest has an intense red colour with a tawny halo. Presents a complex bouquet of dried fruits, standing-out the spicy notes. Sophisticated and delicate in taste. Good structure, well-balanced acidity and a pleasant unctuousness. Long and persistent finish.

Enjoy this exemplary port lightly chilled with fruity desserts like tarte tatin, creme brulée or Christmas pudding, even rich chocolate mousse. The classic pairing of Stilton cheese is also excellent, as are ripe tropical fruits.

Colheita Single Harvest Tawny Port

A 2003 vintage Port Wine. The Messias colheita port from the good 2003 vintage has been aged in a barrel until bottling in 2017.

The extended barrel aging has given this wine a complex fusion of dried fruit and cedar notes. Quinta de la Rosa, 2003

Vintage Port

La Rosa's classic house style achieved by slow maceration in traditional granite 'Lagares' has produced a wine full of luscious forward fruit with a very attractive nose and a long velvety slightly drier finish across the palate

La Rosa is a vertically integrated Quinta rising to 450 metres above sea level, boasting many hidden micro climates within its cirtilage. Where possible we vintage and mature these small 'lotes' separately in order to achieve the maximum complexity in the finished ports, which would not have been possible from a less diversely planted property.

Warre's Vintage Port, 2003

Vintage Port

A vintage 2003 Port Wine from Warre's Vintage Port. Warre's Port was first founded by two Englishmen in 1670.

"Black pepper, sealing wax, spices, and toast are found in the nose of the potentially exceptional 2003 Warre Vintage Port. A concentrated, backward effort, its youthful, classically ungenerous, masculine character reveals black pepper laced dark fruits. Silky-textured in its immensely endowed mid-palate, this top-flight effort displays an admirably long, tannin-filled finish. It will require serious cellaring. Projected maturity: 2030-2050." - 93 / 100 points, Pierre Rovan, Wine Advocate.
